Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
You could say Stephanie's introduction to nutrition began 30 years ago growing up in a household where she learned that nutrition played a big role in the foundation for good health. For the past 7.5 years her all foods fit approach to nutrition helps patients move away from yo-yo dieting and failed diets, and move towards finding ways to add nutritious foods and healthy habits slowly over time for a healthy sustainable lifestyle. Stephanie helps provide science-based facts and tools that are tailor made for each patient to be successful at their own pace. This is done without sacrificing your favorite foods, or more importantly your relationship with food. She is one of our dietitians that is available for Christian Integration.
Stephanie has built a great foundation in both clinical and outpatient dietetics. Having been able to work in both areas of nutrition and with a vast array of populations, Stephanie found a passion for providing culturally appropriate nutrition education to the Hispanic community. Working with bilingual or Spanish speaking individuals to manage or prevent chronic health conditions.
Stephanie completed her undergraduate in dietetics at Texas Woman's University. She also completed her dietetic internship at Texas Woman's University.
Stephanie comes from a Guatemalan background, but is a born and raised Texan. She lives in the metroplex with her husband of 8 years and three kids aged 5, 2, and 4 months. Stephanie loves exercising and cooking in her spare time or watching crime shows/documentaries with her husband.
