Eating Disorders

Get Your Life Back.

Eating disorders affect 1 out of every 10 Americans, according to the EDC. But we think life should not be disrupted by something that should be as natural as eating food. We help reset and renew confidence in eating.

The First Steps to Recovery

Eating disorders can inhibit all facets of your daily life. Your energy, mental processes, sleep habits and even your self-esteem. But understanding these negative patterns can truly give you a positive change in your life. And that’s what we’re all about.

Our expert dietitians are highly trained in behavioral techniques and counseling skills. Unlike other dietitians traditionally trained in our field, ours work to discover the stem of the problem and create lifestyle and diet changes backed by expertise, experience and the latest disordered eating research. Give yourself the gift of good health. It’s worth it.

Eating Disorder Meal Planning & Monitoring

A Purposeful Plan of Recovery

Our eating disorder specialists will meet with you for 90 minutes in the first session. They methodically determine all issues, environmental attributes, and eating habits. Also, if you’ve recently been discharged from an eating disorder program, we review the discharge summary including the current meal plan prescribed by the program dietitian.

We focus on building trust. A genuine connection promotes trust as we challenge them to pursue recovery. In most cases, we take blind weights during each visit. We ask that patients remove all extra clothing and shoes before stepping backward on our clinic scale.

Depending on the patient’s stage of recovery, patients will be seen weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Food monitoring may be done on a phone app that will connect your child or teen with the dietitian for support. Overall, our dietitian will be in regular contact with them to maximize the recovery process.

We also provide other options upon request.

It’s time to get your disorder under control. It is not who you are.

Take your first (and hopefully last) step in the right direction by calling us today.
