Lauren Morris, MS, RDN, LD

Lauren believes that all things fit in moderation and you do not have to deprive yourself when it comes to building the perfect plate for you or your family. Lauren is passionate about providing science-based information to empower others to make healthy decisions.  She realizes that everyone has different needs and what works for one family or individual, may not necessarily work for another. Lauren is eager to help those with a busy schedule find the balance between work and play when it comes to nutrition. She believes that food does not have to be monotonous and it can also serve as a time of bonding and creativity for families.

Lauren became interested in nutrition when working at a gym and decided to pursue an education so that she could learn the information necessary to help others be successful. She enjoys interacting with others and loves to see others reach their goals and be successful. She aims to encourage others and provide them with support as they work towards achieving the goals they have for obtaining better nutrition.

Lauren graduated with a M.S. in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University, where she also completed her dietetic internship. Over the past 5 years, Lauren has had the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals in settings ranging from long-term care facilities to intensive outpatient facilities.

Lauren moved from her hometown of Collinsville in 2008 to Farmersville, where she currently resides.
