A note from Angela:

It is my honor that you came to visit our website!  If you are looking for nutrition services for you, your child, family or even if you are looking to hire us for a wellness presentation or write an article - it's important to me that you know some background on what drives our company's passion.  When it comes to food and nutrition guidance, it needs to come from someone you know cares and understands.

In my late teens and early twenties I was out of shape, tired, run down and facing serious medical problems if I didn’t change. For the next ten years I tried several fad-like ways of eating that I found in magazines and books. Just when I thought I had nutrition figured out, I would read something else that would contradict that information. It was extremely frustrating.

After becoming properly educated, I have to admit, I got a bit angry - righteously angry!  There are so many people out there just like me trying to navigate a healthy lifestyle and now, there is even more misinformation at your finger tips via the Internet.  I set out to help people understand food and nutrition in a way that empowers them to make it work in their lives.  That is my professional mission statement.  This applies if I am helping a child grow appropriately while on a special diet or if I am helping an adult in their wellness endeavors.

We have have people that have gone before us and mentored us along the way.  Be sure to thank them.  I would like to give a special recognition for the those poignant people in my life here.

In Health & Wellness,

Angela Lemond, RDN, CSP, LD
